1. Patterning quiz tomorrow. Look over the notes in your math duo-tang.

Advanced notice: Tomorrow (Friday the 20th) I have booked the I-Pads during literacy. In small groups, you will be practicing for your "Starring Me" presentation. One person will record you, you will watch back your practice presentation, and your group will give you feedback. "Starring Me" Presentations begin on Tuesday, September 24th. I can't wait!

Your success criteria for the presentation:
1. Use an appropriate volume
2. Make eye contact with the audience
3. Speak with expression, vary my pace
4. Show attentive listening skills while others' are presenting

1. Health- My Favourite Food Worksheet.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH will be our PATTERNING QUIZ. It will be out of 8 marks and consist of the material we have covered so far: the pattern core, term rules, how to find a missing term (for example what is the 30th term?).

We will review for the quiz on Thursday in class.

2. Finish line art- including outline with a sharpie and coloured with pencil crayon. Please return my sharpie tomorrow if you borrowed one from me. :)

2. Staring Me Information- ask your parent(s) if you are unsure.

Grade 4 Families, are part of our Personal Narrative Unit, students will be completing a visual/written poster of information about themselves. You may send in baby pictures for them to glue directly on their project, or I am happy to make a photocopy and send back the original. Please just write me a note in your child's agenda which you would prefer.

Some information they will need:

The city they were born, how much they weighed, and how long they were at birth. They can record this information in their writer's notebook.

Welcome Grade 4 Families!

It has been a wonderful week getting to know all of your children. They are full of energy and ready for new learning opportunities.
